Flea control

Since the stages of flea development are very inconspicuous, the first thing a homeowner should do is contact professional pest control services. This is because most of the time it is very difficult or even impossible to deal with flea control products available in the store. However, your Insecto pest control professional is trained in such situations and will conduct a thorough inspection of areas where flea larvae may be present. After a thorough inspection, a flea control plan must be prepared. The plan includes the following:

  1. Identification of flea species. (Performed by Insecto Representative)
  2. Explaining the life cycles of fleas and how their habits, living environment and behavior will affect the plan. (Performed by Insecto Representative)
  3. Inspection of domestic animals, as they are the main food source for fleas. There may also be other food sources, such as rats living inside or outside the home (for example, in the garage). (Performed by Insecto Representative)
  4. The home owner should contact a veterinarian who would advise how to get rid of fleas from pets in the best way. ( Performed by the home owner )
  5. Regular washing and brushing of pets. ( Performed by the home owner )
  6. Use a strong “vacuum cleaner” or a vacuum to physically remove flea eggs, larvae and pupae and adults (adults). (Performed by Insecto Representative)
  7. Frequently wash and dry the places of domestic animals. ( Performed by the home owner )
  8. Places infested with fleas should be controlled with safe and effective flea control products. (Performed by Insecto Representative)
  9. Agree on the following visiting times to carry out the control visit. (Performed by Insecto Representative)
